The night of nights to hoist a toast is this at New Year's Eve-

We think to of future, Measure the pass with happiness and grieve-

This sentence ending our last chapter of the last year past-

Allows a new book of our life for goodness that will last-

Don't turn the page. Shut the cover. Move on to something new-

Push away the deadweight and pain, and love those who do love you-

New page, new chapter or whole new book, all these choices yours-

Start this new year with a smile and all with fresh new scores-

No need to carry baggage from the life you had last year-

So lift your glass of good champagne offer up a cheer-

Life is good. Love is great! Friends bring happier days-

Embrace the love. Fill your plate and by all means give God praise-

Watch the sunrise & the set and don't lose track of time-

For life is nothing if not for jokes with wit, with song, with rhyme-

So live for smiles and share the love and raise your glass to friends-

And Usher in a great new year, as this, the old year ends-

Happy New Year

BOOK 'EM for DANNO smile emoticon I'm looking for gigs....
I will be back in the Alabama gulf coast area in the beginning of August and would like to start booking gigs now. I'm doing a guitar/vocal thing right now. I am not playing to tracks. It is a 6 string/vocals and mostly mellow tropical thing of course..... Let me know if there is a venue nearby that I should contact or if you're having a party.
Thanks Y'all smile emoticon

Cello - Park Y.S. Christian Town Zion... and I'm on an info quest

This is a cello I bought for my wife about 25 years ago. We have been trying to find more information on it for years but we have not had much luck.
SO......
I'm reaching out to my friends to see if anyone has more information. This is an beautiful instrument and I need to insure it. Without any other information, the process is very hard.
Thanks for your help

Well - I don't know how big this news is in the perspective of the world but I was told today that I was #5 on the Reverbnation Music Charts for my area for the Rock genre. I really wish there was a Trop-Rock genre but I have to fit in where I can.

Anyway, it is cool and I am happy to be honored with the support everyone is giving me.

Until later.... Trop-Rock On!

Just a quick note:
My son has been working on my website and it is now mostly done (in contrast to the past 2 weeks when it has been mostly dead). Check it out http://www.dannytaddei.com

I have been working on my next CD and I'm getting closer. Translation for you sailing friends, we're on a light breeze day under sail and 50 miles out on a 500 mile leg :-). We are much closer and you can now link to downloads and CD's from there. You can also view the bio for me and a few players that have graced my recordings.

Back to life now - recording resumes tomorrow.......

So I am now live - let me introduce myself.....

I'm a song writing, sailing, pilot with 2 kids, a wife and a dog. I grew up traveling the world, then worked traveling the world and for fun, I travel the world.
I have been asked why I don't plant some roots and make some relationships but that is a ridiculous question. Everyone where I go in this world I make new friends. Sometimes I meet really nice people and other times I meet amazing people but either way - I have great friends, most with great tales of adventure and some with shared adventures.
We have all heard "Life is like a box of chocolates" - and I want to taste them all!
.... Then - I get asked about my Influences? ........... Well, I’ve been known to be heavily influenced by a good steak and beer and thoroughly convinced by cute girls - but I like to listen to Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown band, Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor, Kenny Loggins, The Eagles, and anything laid back and in the island style groove. Give me an afternoon of steel drums or guitar anytime! .... My songs sail from a sunset finger style guitar/vocal to a high seas tropical steel drum band. All are salted with the flavor of the sea, spiced with rum and about life, love and humor. My songs are the story of my life, my boat and the shores I’ve lived on. .... I suppose the only real answer to the *influence* question is: everything that I am, have been or hope to be, is my influence!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are my next great friend too.
Danny.. .. ..
Day one of the new website..... My son Justin is the webmaster and I'm feeling old :-)I hope all of you will pipe up with your thoughts.

My new CD is being played on dozens of radio shows but I would love some help.  PLEASE send requests to your favorite radio stations and tell them you'd love to hear my music. I'm not pushing singles like most people do when they release a CD. I figure everyone has their own favorite song and I'm more interested in people being happy from the music then pushing spin ratings for any charts.

I am working on my new CD already. In fact, I have more then several dozen songs near completion though I doubt I will be able to finnish more then about 14 before I have to abandon the recording for a while. Stay tunes, let me know what you think and thanks for stopping by!
